In this course, you will understand the importance of leadership and be able to apply various leadership methods within your organization. Included are the qualities that make a successful leader based on personal leadership styles and how to apply them

Connie Wardman, M.A., SDLT

About the Education Director Connie Wardman has an extensive background in LGBTQIA+/sports diversity advocacy as the editor in chief of Compete Magazine since 2011. She was also editor in chief of Rebound Magazine and StandUp Magazine. Prior to joining Compete Magazine Connie worked for Public Broadcast System (PBS) in their adult learning service and for the McNellis Company, a creating thinking and strategic planning firm providing consulting services for a number of Fortune 10-500 companies. She has also worked in higher education and served as an education consultant evaluating training programs for Alcoa's worldwide research and development division. Connie has both an undergraduate degree in English from Chatham University and a graduate degree in adult and community education form Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She received her SDLT designation in 2016.
